Community of practice (CoP)
A Community of Practice is a group of people who share a concern, a set of problems, or a passion about a topic, and who deepen their knowledge and expertise in this area by interacting on an ongoing basis’.

Join our CoP
Living with chronic respiratory disease and other long-term conditions can feel overwhelming, especially when care is fragmented and support does not always connect in the way people need it to.
The MULTIPULM Community of Practice is here to help change that. It brings together patients, informal carers, healthcare professionals, researchers, policymakers and other local stakeholders to share experiences, learn from each other, and work together on better ways to deliver more connected, people-centred care.
By creating space for honest exchange and collaboration, the Community of Practice helps ensure that MULTIPULM’s solutions are shaped by real needs, real challenges and real lives.

What is the MULTIPULM CoP?
The MULTIPULM Community of Practice (CoP) is a dynamic, collaborative space where researchers, healthcare professionals, technology developers, and patient advocates come together to share expertise and drive innovation in respiratory care.
The primary goal of this CoP is to co-create and validate the project’s digital tools and integrated care frameworks, ensuring they are practical, scalable, and tailored to the unique needs of healthcare systems in LMICs. By joining, you help us bridge the gap between advanced technology and real-world clinical application.
Who can be part of the CoP?
We welcome participation from individuals and organisations across the globe, with a particular focus on the EU and our partner regions in Brazil, Serbia, and Türkiye.
Healthcare Providers: Pulmonologists, GPs, nurses, and community health workers involved in managing chronic respiratory diseases and multimorbidity.
Technology & AI Experts: Developers, data scientists, and digital health innovators focused on remote monitoring, AI diagnostics, and patient engagement platforms.
Policy & Health Authorities: National and regional health ministries, policymakers, and civil servants working on Universal Health Coverage (UHC) and digital health strategy.
Patient Organizations: Non-governmental organisations and patient advocates representing individuals living with asthma, COPD, and comorbid conditions (diabetes, heart disease, etc.).
