GACD Annual Scientific Meeting 2026

3-5 November 2026

London, UK

MULTIPULM joins global chronic disease leaders at the GACD Annual Scientific Meeting 2026

MULTIPULM will join researchers, funders and implementation experts from around the world at the Global Alliance for Chronic Diseases Annual Scientific Meeting 2026, taking place in London from 3 to 5 November 2026.

As part of the GACD research community, MULTIPULM will participate in developing new ideas, sharing practical knowledge and ensuring international collaborations while helping shape the future of chronic disease care.

The three-day meeting will create opportunities to share experiences across GACD-funded projects and explore how research can lead to meaningful improvements for patients, communities and health systems.

The draft programme includes:

  • Research programme workshops, including a dedicated session on multiple conditions

  • Discussions about moving research into policy and practice

  • Opportunities to exchange practical implementation lessons

  • Early-career researcher presentations

  • Meetings with research funders

  • Knowledge-sharing and collaboration sessions

  • Discussions about health equity, scale-up and stronger health systems

These themes closely reflect MULTIPULM’s work in Brazil, Serbia and Türkiye. The project is developing and evaluating integrated, digitally supported care for people living with multiple long-term conditions, including at least one chronic respiratory disease.

For MULTIPULM, the meeting will be an important opportunity to learn from other international projects, build new connections and contribute to discussions about making chronic disease care more integrated, inclusive and responsive to people’s everyday needs.

By bringing together different perspectives and experiences, the GACD Annual Scientific Meeting helps turn research knowledge into action. MULTIPULM is proud to be part of this international community and to contribute to the conversations shaping the next generation of chronic disease care.
