The Institute for Pulmonary Diseases of Vojvodina established in 1960. is located in Sremska Kamenica, in the immediate vicinity of Novi Sad, on the right bank of the Danube, in the picturesque setting of the foothills of Fruška Gora. It is surrounded by a large park with lush greenery and rare plant species, and is located in an area where different air currents intersect, which gives it the characteristics of a natural air spa.  With constant and rapid development, the Institute is today a modern health, educational and scientific research health care institution with 312 hospital beds, which enables the hospitalization of over 7,000 patients per year. The IPBV has modern medical equipment for diagnostics and treatment, and competent medical staff, whose expertise, experience and efficiency, as well as continuous professional development, enable the application of modern methods of diagnostics and treatment. The organizational structure of the Institute consists of clinics, joint medical services and joint non-medical services.


Role in the project: 


IPBV will contribute to the Project in all WPs with maijor activitie in WP5 - Organization and execution of implementation studies and analysis of results conducting the Serbian pilot study.
