Aristotle University of Thessaloniki (AUTH) is the largest university in Greece, located centrally in Thessaloniki and spanning an area of about 230,000 square meters.

Established in 1925 and named after the philosopher Aristotle, AUTH embraces a long tradition of academic achievement and is recognized as a vibrant center for learning and research across all disciplines.

The university consists of 12 faculties, 36 schools, and many specialized departments, offering a comprehensive educational spectrum in sciences, humanities, engineering, medicine, and the arts. With more than 88,000 students enrolled in undergraduate, postgraduate, and doctoral programs, AUTH is considered the most populated higher education institution in Southeastern Europe.

Courses are primarily taught in Greek, but there are programs available in English, French, German, and Italian, as well as special arrangements for international and exchange students.

AUTH is also active in international research collaborations and projects, reflecting its cosmopolitan character and commitment to innovation.

-Use of the CoCross platform for continuous monitoring of wearable sensors for lifestyle, lung sounds analytics and environmental parameters

-BigO mHealth app for the monitoring of mobility combined with local neighborhood footprint

-WELCOME and WELMO connected and integrated care platform for management of multimorbid cardiorespiratory patients

-mHealth app for detection of anxiety and depression

-Fusion of multisource information and data

Signal Processing and Biomedical Technology Unit (Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering):

-Adaptation of biAURA app to be used as the MULTIPULM Sleep Assessment and Intevention Tool.

-Participation in the horizontal project activities (awareness building, exploitation, dissemination).
