Established in 1940, Faculdade de Motricidade Humana (FMH) stands as the oldest Faculty of Sports Sciences in Portugal, belonging to University of Lisbon (ULisboa). With a clear commitment to advancing the knowledge society, FMH-ULisboa focuses on sustainable human development through the exploration of motor skills, body expressions, and the interplay of biological and psychological processes within societal values. This multifaceted approach extends across diverse social settings, including but not limited to education, sports, arts, and healthcare systems. FMH-ULisboa's active participation in EU research projects encompasses domains such as active and healthy living, advanced behavioral modeling, serious game design/development, digital phenotyping, and early neurodegenerative disease prognosis.

Role in the project:

FMH will lead Task 3.2, which focuses on establishing a co-creation and participatory validation loop for the project’s digital tools through UX design workshops and targeted small-scale experimentation. In addition, FMH will lead the development of Breathing Serious Games intervention tool specifically designed to support patients and informal carers managing multimorbid conditions such as chronic respiratory diseases (CRD), mental health disorders, and cardiovascular diseases (CVD). FMH will also contribute to several tasks across WP1 to WP7, reinforcing its role in both design and implementation phases of the project.
