SHINE 2Europe aims to promote inclusive communities to citizens, by delivering research services and support to the implementation of tech-Savvy, Healthy and INclusivE solutions (SHINE) in Europe, with a clear vision of promoting inclusive societies for all.
SHINE's work around inclusion and stakeholder engagement ranges from aspects such as gender, race, age, personal opinions and lifestyles, literacy, and skills levels, environmental concerns, and sustainability, fostering awareness raising, advocating for the most fragile citizens and calling up the public attention for specific interventions. What we really foster is to help imagining a society that is already built considering the different needs of all citizens and creating comprehensive solutions that can help them to be happy and have a fulfilled life.
We enable players for transformative and behavioural change, by addressing ethical questions linked to future scenarios, including intersectionality approaches and systems of power between social categories towards inclusion and equity. Our key working areas are social innovation, stakeholder engagement, ethics & privacy, human and societal impacts, policy strategy and recommendations.
Role in the project:
SHINE leads the works on WP2, for the analysis of individual, inner, outer and procedural factors and implementation design and planning. That includes focusing on activities for stakeholders views, perceptions and individual characteristics assessment and social, cultural, organizational, technological, legal/ethical, economic requirements. SHINE is also leading the work on the policy recommendations and roadmap for MULTIPULM implementation sustainability as well as the networking and clustering activities, playing also a significant role at the nurturing of local stakeholders ecosystems and the development of communities of practice, including training and awareness raising activities.
